Zoretic is a Bowling Green metalsmith and jewelry designer who works
primarily with sterling silver, fine silver, and various gemstones with
accents of copper and brass. She creates sterling
silver
components to include in her jewelry designs – components that have a
bit of a rustic or organic quality and that give her pieces the quality
of “jeans casual” or “little black dress” chic.
Kay’s
training comes both from classes at William Harris School of Lapidary
in Young Harris, GA, and with Will Harris in Nashville
TN.
She has been making jewelry for 8 years and it feels as though she has
found her niche in combining various metals.
Although
her jewelry has been described as wearable art, this is Kay’s first
entry in an art show. Her jewelry sells in Bowling Green at
Gallery 916, Barbara Stewart Interiors, and the Kentucky Museum as well
as throughout the U.S., in Japan, the UK, Italy, France and in
Germany.
